The last task group meeting on July 8 updated only the US Bank portion of the overall 1/2 block development on 4th St. between 1st Ave. and Hennepin Ave.
Mortenson has invited us to a second update review of their portion of the development to take place at Cunningham Group offices at 5:30, Monday July 20.
The second US Bank Mortenson Task Force (USMTG) meeting has been set up for review of an updated proposal from Mortenson-USBank for the 333 Hennepin site.
In May we had a look at one of the special SWAT Team vehicles which was at the 2nd Precinct Open House. Last month we met Nash, the K-9 assigned to the SWAT team. This month we’ll learn about the rest of the team.
As NIEBNA has done for other major developments in the neighborhood an ad hoc Task Group has been formed to handle neighborhood comment and review on the development.
The speaker this month will be Sgt. Andy Stender of the MPD K-9 Unit and he’s bringing his partner, Nash.
